Pulling Refrigerated Freight
When you pull refrigerated freight, you have more responsibilities than you would have to pull a normal dry van. Refrigerated trucks haul products that must be kept below a certain temperature. Since it requires more attention and more work, jobs pulling refrigerated freight often offer higher pay than dry van jobs.
Hauling Flat Bed Loads
Drivers hauling flatbed loads drive trucks without an enclosed back area. They are often seen transporting airplanes to construction materials. These trucks have the capabilities of hauling oversized freight that does not fit into traditional semi-trucks.
